International Workshop: Media Production
The Youth Press Berlin support young refugees to pursue their own media projects. Therefore, we organise a workshop about media production for people in the age of 14 to 27.
The Workshop
The workshop take place from 12th to 18th of December. Since most you will be busy half-day being in German class, our workshop will start 2 pm each day and will end around 6 pm with a dinner. The only full-day workshop will be on 14th of December (10 am – 6 pm).
Our trained speakers will teach about camera use, sound, cut and media analysis as well as give a brief overview about the German media landscape. At the same time, we are happy to learn from you and the experiences you made in this field already.
At the end of the workshop you are welcome to join our club to work on longterm media projects together or start your own project. The film/TV-group of our club, for instance, is working on an intergenerational webshow. You are warmly welcome to join us.
You won’t have to pay for the 1-week-workshop because the Youth Press Berlin got some sponsorships and partners, who support the project. Our partners are the Landesjugendring Berlin e. V., ALEX TV and Curatorium Altern gestalten e. V..
Take part!
Become part of a new project and a nice team! Necessarily it’s important that you can understand and speak English which will be the main language of the workshop. Of course, you should share our passion for media and media production. If this is not your topic, things may get boring fast ;)
